Christian education for all ages begins at 10:10 a.m. every Sunday morning, year-round. In addition to classes for children and youth, there are adult classes ranging from Bible study to contemporary Christian concerns. Additionally, there are midweek Bible study groups, prayer groups, and music rehearsals. On Wednesday evenings following the 5:30 p.m. Eucharist (from September to November and January until Holy Week), there is an overflowing group in the parish hall for supper prepared by the "Gracious Gourmets", followed by programs for children, youth and adults on a wide range of Christian topics.
Grace Church's Christian Education program seeks to nurture all people of God by providing an educational community that encourages questioning, challenges thinking, and promotes learning to reveal the love and joy of God for all persons. Christian Education programs are offered year-round.
The Christian Education Boards - Adult, Youth and Children The responsibility for overseeing the educational programs of Grace belongs to the clergy, the Director of Children's Ministry, and the Christian Education Boards. The CE Boards bring together clergy, vestry, staff, and lay members to identify the Christian education needs of the entire parish, and to develop programs in response to those needs. An important aspect of our life together is a strong emphasis on programs for children, youth and adults.
